Right now, the US has over 15,000 imposed sanctions against dozens of countries.
Remember, sanctions are not harmless.
Sanctioning is economic warfare. They are implemented to destroy nations by creating a severe living crisis.
The sinister purpose behind sanctions is to force a sovereign nation to submit to external pressure. And in the process, sacrifice the interests and development of its own society and citizens.
The chaos unleashed by sanctions is both inhumane and immoral. The reality is people dying due to not having access to medicine and food security. (Meaning: medication deprivation and starvation.)
The purpose of sanctions is to cripple the lives of ordinary citizens. Why? To create civil unrest and civil war. This leads to the removal of the uncooperative governments that refuse to obey the orders of Western nations. And of course, Western interests.
